Privacy policy

Katagami is operated by Margaryta Agafonova, operating as ArniLabs, in New Jersey, United States. ArniLabs is a business name used by an individual. This policy explains how we collect, use and share information when you use katagami.ai and its MCP connectors (the "service").

• Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture and Google account identifier. We also store the role we assign your account.
• Content you submit. Styles, design documents, page code, images, prompts, writing samples, source and permission information, examples and remixes you contribute, plus feedback and support requests.
• Requests and results. Descriptions and refinements you enter in Ask the library or explore, page source you ask us to check, and information your connected assistant sends when it uses a tool. We process this information and the results needed to carry out the request.

• Usage information. Pages viewed, clicks, search text, performance measurements and errors. We also store daily sign-in and connector-use counts. If you are signed in, usage information can be linked to your account.
• Device and connection information. Your browser type, device type and IP address.
• Connected agents. When you connect an AI agent through our MCP servers, we record which agent you connected, the access you granted it and how often it is used.

• To provide the service, including signing you in and recording who contributed each style.
• To recommend styles, check pages and evaluate contributions using automated and AI tools. Art-style review can include generating test images from a submitted prompt and comparing them with reference images.
• To understand how the service is used, fix problems and improve it.
• To protect the service, including limiting request rates and preventing abuse.
• To respond to your requests and contact you about your account.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We share information only as follows:

• Connected assistants. When you connect an assistant, we share account identifiers, including your name and email address, and return the library content and results that connection is authorized to request. This can include your private library content. The assistant provider handles the information under its own privacy policy.
• Hosting and operation. We use service providers for sign-in, hosting, database and file storage, file delivery and monitoring. These include Google for sign-in, Vercel for website hosting and web analytics, Railway for backend hosting, Cloudflare for file storage and delivery, and Datadog for usage analytics, performance monitoring and logs. They receive the information needed to perform their roles.
• AI evaluation. Typesafe processes descriptions, refinements, page source and contribution text, including design documents, landing-page copy and art-style prompts, to recommend styles and evaluate submissions. For an art style it also receives the style's reference images and the pictures drawn to test it, scaled down, to judge whether they share one style. When an app you use asks for a judgment, such as which restaurant suits a group, Typesafe also receives the app records that judgment needs. Automated curation agents also use hosted models and managed execution environments to review submitted files and prepare library entries.
• Art-style tests. OpenRouter routes image-generation requests to model providers. These requests include a submitted style's prompt. The test configuration uses image models from xAI, OpenAI, Google and ByteDance; the models used for an individual test depend on that test. Tests judged before 15 October 2026 also sent the style description, reference images and generated test images to an Anthropic vision model through OpenRouter. Model hosting providers can differ from the company that developed the model.
• Public contributions. Approved contributions may be published with their images, examples, contributor or author credit and source or permission information. Keep personal or confidential information out of material you want published. Drafts remain available to you and authorized reviewers and service providers involved in processing them.
• Legal reasons. When the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users, the public or us.
• Business transfers. Information may be transferred if ownership of Katagami or its assets changes, subject to the protections and commitments applicable to that information.

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how the service is used, and we keep some preferences, such as your choice of theme, in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but you will not be able to stay signed in without them. Katagami does not respond to Do Not Track signals.

Account, connected-assistant, contribution, feedback and daily activity records are stored persistently. They do not currently have a fixed automatic expiry. Signing out or disconnecting an assistant does not delete these records.

You can ask us to delete your personal information by contacting us at rita@arnilabs.ai. Requests are handled individually. We will explain the scope of the deletion and any information that must be retained, for example to meet a legal obligation or address abuse. Published contributions may remain in the library under the terms on which they were contributed, and copies already obtained by others may remain with them.

Operational logs and provider-held data follow the retention settings and policies of the services that hold them. Provider logs and backups can have separate retention periods, so removing an account or connection does not immediately remove every historical copy.

Signed-in users can revoke connected agents and sign out of all sessions from their account settings. To access, correct or delete your personal information, contact us at rita@arnilabs.ai. We may need to verify that a request concerns your account before acting on it. We will respond to explain the action taken or the information needed to handle your request, within the time required by applicable law.

We use encrypted connections, account access controls and connections that you can revoke to help protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or other sensitive personal information in contribution text, prompts or feedback.

Katagami is operated from the United States. Our service providers may process your information in the United States and in other countries.

Katagami is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at rita@arnilabs.ai so we can investigate and handle the deletion request.

We may update this policy. We post changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you on the site before it takes effect.
